The Meaning Behind the Logo
The wolf is an amazing creature. It is an animal dedicated to its family/Pack, mating for life and protecting its group to the death. The howling wolf is mimicked by many but probably not for the same true reason that Lupus calls out his mournful wail. This is actually a defensive action. Calling the pack together for unity, identifying the location to gather, and as a warning to their enemies that they are united for strength. This is exactly what The Armistice is offering our First Responder and Military Family. The solemn black silhouette in the logo represents the strong and confident presentation that each of us have been trained to present to our patients, family and co-workers. The howling wolf represents the wolf that is calling the pack together for unity and strength, but also represents the hurting inner self calling out for help.

This is our “why.” Why we have set this program in motion. Our family/Pack is in danger and calling out for help. We will be there.
